About the Osage Valley Electric Cooperative

Osage Valley Electric Cooperative is a rural electric distribution cooperative serving more than 17,500 meters, along 3,750 miles of line, in West Central Missouri. OVEC serves residents and businesses in portions of Bates, Benton, Cass, Henry, Johnson, St. Clair, and Vernon counties. The Cooperative employs nearly 50 employees who are dedicated to serving its members, and the local community.

OVEC is governed by a set of core values that put its members first. From our energy audits to our storm preparedness guides, we are here to support the residents in our service region. The Osage Valley Electric Cooperative invests all of its resources into its members and the community at large, while constantly exploring new ways to save money and operate more efficiently.
